What are my payment choices?
InkjetSuperstore.com accepts the following payment types:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express (credit cards and debit cards).
When will my credit card be charged?
Since we don't think you should pay for your order until it is actually on its way, we will not bill you until your products, including backordered items, are actually shipped.
When will my credit appear on my account when I am being Refunded?
The time it takes for your credit to appear on your account varies depending on your credit type. Typically you should see a credit on within (7) business days from the time we receive the returned merchandise.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
The tax rate depends on factors like destination of the shipment and the type of product. All items shipped to Canadian destinations are subject to the Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 5%. There is also the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) which might be applied depending on the product and the destination:
* British Columbia: PST at 7%
* Quebec: Quebec Sales Tax (QST) at 7.5%
* Manitoba: PST at 7%
* Ontario: PST at 8%
* Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland: HST at 13% (including GST)
Can a US company or an Ontario company charge PST?
Many out of province vendors are registered to collect BC tax. If they have charged 7 % tax, then it is quite likely BC tax.
When out of province vendors charge PST they do not have to prove they are registered to collect PST.
When goods are sold at a discounted price how do we apply the PST?
When goods are sold at a discounted price, tax applies to the reduced price paid by the purchaser.
Who is ultimately responsible for collecting and paying PST for transactions within BC, the vendor or the purchaser
The statute of limitations to collect back taxes is 6 years. It is policy for PST audits to assess the responsibility of collecting PST for the previous 3 years to the Vendor. For missed taxes from 4 years up to 6 years the audit will assess the responsibility onto the purchaser.
Address Verification
Why must you verify my billing and shipping address before they can ship my order?
In order to guard against credit card fraud, if the billing and shipping address are different, we must verify that the alternate shipping address is authorized. Please contact the issuing bank of your credit card and list your ship to address as an alternate address in their memo field. We will call them and verify the address. This could delay your order.
Is my payment information secure?
We currently use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to safeguard your information, including your credit card number, during online transactions. None of the hundred of thousands of people, who have made purchases through InkjetSuperstore.com's Website using SSL, have reported to us fraudulent use of their credit card as a result of their online order. We believe SSL to be a very safe encryption method, but we are always looking for even more secure encryption methods to safeguard information sent online. Our server will run detection software to help ensure you are using a secure browser and your information is secure when you check out. If our browser determines you are not using a secure browser, a message will appear at checkout.
How can my credit/debit card be declined when I know for certain that I have the funds available?
Credit card can decline due to invalid credit card number, exp date, daily limit, insufficient credit, or other reasons. Sometimes the card number itself is input incorrectly. Check online to be sure the number has been input correctly. Contact your credit card company for more information.
Do know specifically why my credit/debit card was declined?
The computer does the credit card charges automatically. We are not given a reason when a charge declines. Only that it is declined. Verify you have given us the correct numbers and expiration date. If so, please contact your creditcard company or bank for information.
May I pay using a check or a money order?
We do not accept personal checks, business checks, cashiers checks, or money orders at this time.
Do you offer credit/ net 30 terms?
At this time, we do not offer any terms. All orders must be paid at time of ordering.
